More video of Japandroids debuting new songs live has surfaced online. Performing at hometown Vancouver venue the Cobalt Motor Hotel on the fourth night of a four-day run this past Saturday, the band played “No Known Drink or Drug” and “Near to the Wild Heart of Life,” song titles we first heard when we spotted video of new song “Arc of Bar” at the Cobalt a few days earlier. (“Near to the Wild Heart of Life” appears to borrow its title from Clarice Lispector’s 1942 novel Near to the Wild Heart.)
