Tove Lo and her fancy kicks bounced from last weekend’s VMAs over to last night’s Tonight Show, where the up-and-coming Swedish pop star performed her clubby recent single, “Cool Girl.” The Tonight Show performance mirrored the song’s video, with Tove Lo sporting overalls and hitting some of the same knees-on-the-ground dance moves.
A silly string-covered Jimmy Fallon also showed off the cover of Tove Lo’s recently announced album, Lady Wood, which arrives October 28. Unfortunately, “Cool Girl” does seem to lose some of its appealingly sticky atmospherics in late-night form. Watch below.
