Stream How to Dress Well’s New “Sex-Positive” Anthem “Can’t You Tell”

How to Dress Well—the R&B-inflected recording project of Tom Krell—will release its fourth album, Care, on Friday, September 23, via Weird World/Domino. Over the past few weeks, Krell has shared a couple of songs from the 11-track effort (“Lost Youth / Lost You,” “What’s Up”), and now he’s offering another.

The newest tune, “Can’t You Tell,” is a bright, polished production that’s indicative of the unabashedly pop approach Krell took on Care. Described by the singer-songwriter on Twitter as a “consent-pop song—a sex-positivity anthem,” the track makes use of Krell’s feather-light falsetto on the hook, “Wanna lay you down and take it there / Take you right there / Can’t you tell?”

Stream “Can’t You Tell” below, and preorder the followup to 2014’s “What Is This Heart?” through iTunes.
