Lower Dens released a heavenly, lulling cover of “Maneater” by Hall & Oates as a part of amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research’s upcoming charity album The Time Is Now. In their new version of the song, Lower Dens transforms the upbeat ’80s tune into a modern, synthetic lullaby carried by lead singer’s Jana Hunter’s celestial vocals.

The Time Is Now also features a number of other covers of ’80s tracks by contemporary artists, like New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangle” performed by Scarlett Johanson’s band Sugar for Sugar, and others by Phantogram, Metric, and Aloe Blacc.

Listen to “Maneater” below. The Time Is Now is out October 7 via Republic/Mass Appeal.
