The ghostly mystic Gonjasufi is coming back with a new album entitled Callus, a project marked by brooding imagery: Its album cover depicts three white crosses, and the recently released video for album cut “Vinaigrette” is a black-and-white noir clip. The Joe Narkin-directed visuals follow a woman solemnly driving through the night before she writhes about in a hotel room. It’s a simple concept that’s bolstered by adventurous cinematography.
Take a trip down the dark path below. Callus, Gonjasufi’s first since 2012’s MU.ZZ.LE, is out next Friday via Warp.
