De La Soul have been moving away from the sample-heavy production that prevents online retailers from carrying most of their discography. It’s been a solid transition: “Drawn,” the latest cut from forthcoming album and the Anonymous Nobody…, finds the trio inhabiting the lounge hip-hop music space with Swedish electro-poppers Little Dragon. The band’s soothing sounds take up the majority of the track before De La Soul close it out with some bars.
