Ryan Adams released a deluxe edition of his critically lauded debut album Heartbreaker last spring, which is still a good-enough excuse to perform a highlight from the album on late-night television. The North Carolinian singer/songwriter took his yearning “Oh My Sweet Carolina” to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, and he brought bluegrass band the Infamous Stringdusters and singer Nicki Bluhm for some welcome assistance.
