Danny Brown Announces New Tour and Upcoming Album Title

The biggest Monday morning news that doesn’t involve Kim Kardashian-West or Taylor Swift comes from Danny Brown. The Detroit star announced the title of his upcoming album, the follow-up to 2013’s Old, and revealed the dates to his upcoming fall tour, Exhibition 2016.

The new album, called Atrocity Exhibition, is named after the Joy Division song (the opener of 1980’s Closer, their final album), which in turn is named after a book by the English author J.G. Ballard. And yes, Brown is aware of the title’s origins.

There’s no release date or word on when Brown is dropping the follow-up to his excellent single, “When It Rains.” But, again, there’s a tour coming up with fellow Bruiser Brigade rapper ZelooperZ and Houston artist Maxo Kream. Check out the full schedule below.
