It takes a minute to wrangle drum and bass collective Rudimental. The UK’s preeminent party band (that sounds reductive…but trust us, they are) are staring out at the beautiful Gorge reservoir, reflecting on friendship and what it means to be alive. They love to be alive, and the east London collective meshes all the ingredients that make a great party into a propulsive stew, blending house, dubstep, soul, and pop into a propulsive party blend. We caught up with the band after tearing up the SPIN stage at the Toyota Music Den at Sasquatch! over Memorial Day weekend.
