Listen to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ Spaced-Out ‘Juno,’ Featuring the Planet Jupiter

NASA’s Juno spacecraft has been on its way to Jupiter since 2011, and it’s finally due to arrive this coming Monday, July 4. In celebration, Nine Inch Nails captain Trent Reznor and Gone Girl soundtrack collaborator Atticus Ross have shared a new one-off song, “Juno.” It’s eight-and-a-half epically peaceful, spacey minutes, opening with samples of the peculiar, creaky “singing” sound that Jupiter makes. It also appears to have NASA’s blessing — the artwork incorporates the official mission insignia.

New Nine Inch Nails music is, hopefully, coming this year. Listen to “Juno” on iTunes/Apple Music, or check out an official trailer below.
