Watch Jay Z’s New Documentary About the Making of ‘Reasonable Doubt’

Jay Z’s seminal debut Reasonable Doubt turns 20 this weekend. SPIN is celebrating with a collection of features we’re calling Jay Z Week, starting with a look back at the making of Reasonable Doubt with the album’s producers. Hov, it seems, had the same idea: He executive-produced a new documentary, RD20, about the record’s genesis.

The 35-minute doc features interviews with Roc-A-Fella associates including Kareem “Biggs” Burke, Briant “B-High” Biggs, Tone Hooker, DJ Premiere, and more. It’s streaming now on Jay’s own service, TIDAL. Everyone can watch a 30-second preview below, but you’ll need a TIDAL subscription to see the full film.
