Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III was the last hip-hop album to surpass one million units sold in a single week, and that was back in 2008. For a while, it looked like the only rapper who could surpass that mark was his protegé, Drake. With Views, the Toronto MC has finally reached that milestone.

Views has sold over one million units and has been streamed over 250 million times on Apple Music in six days, according to Drake’s label, Republic Records. The album’s commercial dominance was propelled by the massive success of singles such as “One Dance” and “Hotline Bling” (which appears as a bonus track on Views). The million sales far surpass those of Beyoncé’s Lemonade (653,000 equivalent album units in a week), which was the No. 1 album this week.

Drake’s winning streak will continue with his upcoming Saturday Night Live hosting gig on May 14. Physical copies of Views are set to hit shelves tomorrow.
