The Julie Ruin — a.k.a. onetime Bikini Kill and Le Tigre frontwoman Kathleen Hanna, former Bikini Kill bandmate Kathi Wilcox, Kenny Mellman, Carmine Covelli, and Sara Landeau — will release a sophomore album, Hit Reset, which follows up 2013’s debut, Run Fast. It’ll be out on July 8 via Hardly Art.
In addition to the news, the band also shared the record’s first single, “I Decide,” with a lyric video featuring Waxahatchee‘s Katie Crutchfield wandering down an Austin road (the clip was filmed during SXSW) in a pair of headphones.
