Stevie Nicks Sang ‘Rhiannon’ With the Kid Band From ‘School of Rock’

Stevie Nicks is an honorary graduate of the School of Rock. Richard Linklater’s 2003 film starring Jack Black as a schlubby private school teacher who turns his class into rock stars is currently a Broadway musical scored by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and in a clip filmed for Rolling Stone last night, the Fleetwood Mac sorceress dropped in after curtain call to sing “Rhiannon.” She was backed by the show’s talented child actor-musicians, who nailed their cues to the end.

“To be in the presence of these kids that are so amazing that honestly sometimes I close my eyes and I’m not sure that it’s not Fleetwood Mac,” Nicks said. “It’s very trippy.” She also spoke about the importance of arts education. Watch Nicks’ performance at Rolling Stone.
