There’s a new supergroup in town: Gone Is Gone features At the Drive-In drummer Tony Hajjar, Mastodon bassist Troy Sanders, and Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, along with film guitarist-keyboardist and film composer Mike Zarin. The quartet plans to release an EP this summer via their own imprint and Rise Records/BMG, but first they’ve shared a floor-shaking, chugging preview of lead single “Violescent.” The band will make their live debut on April 27 at Los Angeles’ Dragonfly, according to Rolling Stone. Listen to a preview of “Violescent” below.
