It was a bad start to the night for fans gathered outside the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, who gathered to watch a broadcast of their home Raptors getting slaughtered in Game Six of their first-round series against the Indiana Pacers. But nothing makes up for a bad Game Six like a performance from the 6 God himself. Drake, longtime global ambassador for the Raptors, got the deflated crowd riled up with a performance of his future-classic “Energy,” entering the crowd afterwards to do some personal meet-and-greeting. Aubrey didn’t perform any VIEWS material as teased, but that’s fine — gotta save something for Sunday’s Game 7 in the North.
