Following years of financial and legal troubles, streaming platform SoundCloud has finally launched its long-teased subscription service, Go. Following recent deals reached with Sony Music and Universal Music Group, the paid tier launched in the U.S. on Tuesday morning. The service starts with a 30-day free trial and continues at $9.99 per month, comparable with competitor Spotify — except, as Billboard points out, SoundCloud has 100 million more tracks (give or take a few).
