Grammy-Winning Artist Barack Obama and Michelle Obama to Speak at SXSW

Two-time Grammy winner and President of the United States of America Barack Obama will be giving a keynote speech at South by Southwest this year alongside his wife, first lady Michelle Obama, who will be delivering a separate keynote address. The president will be part of a keynote conversation at SXSW Interactive on Friday, March 11, where he’ll speak to the Editor in Chief of The Texas Tribune about civic engagement in the 21st Century. Michelle Obama will speak at SXSW Music on Wednesday, March 16, where shell be part of the opening keynote address to talk about the Let Girls Learn initiative. The Obama’s appearances will be open to all Gold and Platinum registrants for SXSW Interactive and SXSW Music, respectively.
