Drake Plays Surprise Set at SXSW

The rapper showed up in Austin with his OVO crew in tow to play the FADER Fort

After a day of rumors that he would be appearing as the special guest at the FADER Fort at SXSW, Drake indeed showed up an hour after headliner Yo Gotti to delight Austin audiences. Drizzy brought his OVO crew with him, with dvsn, Roy Woods, Majid Jordan, and PARTYNEXTDOOR building hype for Toronto’s finest. His set ran through If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late crowd-pleasers “Energy,” “Know Yourself,” and “Legend,” What a Time to Be Alive radio hits “Big Rings” and “Jumpman,” and Meek Mill-baiters “Back to Back” and “Summer Sixteen.
