Cover song fan Kacey Musgraves took on Gnarls Barkley’s unmistakable 2006 mega-hit “Crazy” aboard the Americana music cruise Cayamo this week. Fiddler Sara Watkins of Nickle Creek joined Musgraves and her band for the performance.
As Rolling Stone points out, “Crazy” is a natural fit for a country cover. In its original form, the song samples the work of composers Gian Piero and Gianfranco Reverberi, brothers known for their contributions to spaghetti Western film soundtracks.
