After last year’s unique, protest-folk detour as Sexwitch, Natasha Khan has returned with her first song under the Bat for Lashes name in four years, entitled “I Do.” No word yet on whether or not its canny, wedding-themed marketing imploring us to ‘Save the Date: 1st July 2016’ means the follow-up to 2012’s ethereal The Haunted Man will be dropping on said date.
What we do know is that the R&B-indebted track is a departure from the typical Bat for Lashes style, employing only her fanciful vocals and spare harp plucking. Hear for yourself below, and I guess save that date.
