Perpetual ray of sunshine Marilyn Manson will guest star in a TV drama about that cheery episode of American history known as the Salem Witch Trials. The show, Salem — which airs on WGN America — is now entering its third season. Manson, according to TheWrap, will not play a witch or warlock, but “Thomas Dinley, a barber and surgeon who is the go-to man in Salem, from a shave and a haircut to being leeched, bled, sliced open or sewn up.” However, according to the show’s description, “in Salem, witches are real, but they are not who or what they seem.” So who knows?
This is not Manson’s first brush with Salem. He co-wrote the title track “Cupid Carries a Gun” with series composer Tyler Bates.
