DIIV’s Is the Is Are will be out in a few short weeks — February 5 via Captured Tracks – but the band’s just shared the title track on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. “This song was the last song that got written for the record,” said singer Cole Smith. “I wanted something upbeat and fun. I had just done this documentary thing where I recreated one of my favorite songs from scratch, this song called ‘Hallogallo’ by a German band called Neu! I was like, ‘Well, I could kind of do that, maybe.'”
