PC Music’s Danny L Harle is one of the most pop-leaning producers to associate with the collective. His tracks lean heavily on pillars made from choruses and hooks, and “Broken Flowers” — for which he’s just released a cinematic new video — falls in line with that wonderful school of song-crafting. In the visual, a young woman watches as her workplace clock ticks away, the same monotonous tasks unfurling around her like an assembly line. With cameras trained on her every move, the protagonist stages an escape, both from the doldrums of corporate-minded work and also a life lived tethered by restrictions.
