Skylar Spence‘s Prom King was released back in September and its neon disco revisions made it a sort of DIY cousin to the ’80s minded recordings that Carly Rae Jepsen has been issuing this year. Today, the stars finally aligned and allowed for an official team-up, on an official remix of “Your Type.” Speeding up the track just a little bit, Ryan DeRobertis (the songwriter behind the Spence moniker), makes Jepsen’s dizzy vocals feel right at home on the dancefloor amidst cut up samples and disorienting modulation.
