Ty Dolla $ign‘s latest album Free TC is due out November 13, and today the R&B auteur is sharing one of the record’s more star-studded tracks “L.A.,” which features a verse from fellow Los Angeleno Kendrick Lamar and other guest vocals from James Fauntleroy and Brandy. Lamar‘s nodded to the City of Angels before, but this is as winning a tribute as any, floating high on near-choral vocal arrangements and slip-sliding production that only makes the proceedings feel more sacred. Listen over at the website for Big Boy’s Morning Show, where the song premiered this morning. It’ll be available for download tonight, according to Ty’s Twitter.
