Watch Killer Mike Speak at a Bernie Sanders Rally in Atlanta

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders held a rally in Atlanta last night, where Killer Mike introduced him. During his rousing speech, the Run the Jewels rapper (and Atlanta native) opened with a powerful statement referencing Dr. Martin Luther King: “I’m not here to talk about benevolent politicians that are gonna come and save the day for you. I’m not here to talk about a dream we think is unattainable, so we settle for less.”

“In my heart of hearts, I truly believe that Senator Bernie Sanders is the right man to lead this country,” he continued.

“[Killer Mike is] trying to talk truth throughout this country and, in fact, throughout the world, trying to bring people together,” responded Sanders. “Mike, thanks very much for what you’re doing.” Watch below.
