Hear Two New Justin Bieber Tracks, ‘The Feeling’ and ‘Love Yourself’

Justin Bieber will release his eagerly anticipated new album Purpose on Friday, and today the 21-year-old dropped by Zane Lowe’s show to premiere a new tracked called “Love Yourself” (Hailee Steinfeld is surely watching) as well as his much-teased duet with Halsey called “The Feeling.”

The latter track is a gorgeous rumination on what love actually means (“Am I in love you / Or am I in love with the feeling?” Bieber and Halsey harmonize on its chorus), while “Love Yourself” is an Ed Sheeran cowrite (he’s on its chorus too) that’s much more acoustic and subdued than the Purpose tracks he’s trotted out thus far. “And I’ve been so caught up in myself / Didn’t see what’s going on / And now I know,” Bieber sings over some simple guitar chords. Then a trumpet kicks in because OMI’s “Cheerleader” knows no end to its influence. Hear both here.
