Justin Bieber’s upcoming album Purpose — the final arc of the musical redemption narrative he’s been crafting for himself — will arrive next week, and the Biebs has just teased another new song. The track, “The Feeling,” features much-hyped about newcomer Halsey, whose album BADLANDS wasn’t groundbreaking per se. Their new duet sounds purposefully promising: After a lead-in visual featuring some beautiful blonde swamp-women who swarm Bieber in a way that should probably inspire a couple of thinkpieces, the song kicks in. It’s got a relaxed, almost mystic energy to it — a slightly more chill “What Do You Mean?” of sorts. Listen to the snippet in the preview below, and look for Purpose on November 13.
