Grimes Brought Out Janelle Monáe for ‘Venus Fly’ in Atlanta

One of the most delightfully weird tracks on Grimes‘ ecstatic Art Angels is a collaboration with Janelle Monáe called “Venus Fly.” Wednesday night, it got its first full-force live performance when Grimes made a tour stop in Monáe’s native Atlanta. Earlier in the day she cryptically tweeted that she was “dressing in black + white. 4 a special guest in Atlanta,” as if there could be any other. One of Grimes’ tourmates HANA posted a short clip of the performance of the track, during which Monáe takes the stage. You can check that out below, along with a photo of the pair backstage.
