Flu season, man. It’ll getcha. Belle and Sebastian are the latest group to cancel tour dates due to health issues, in this case canning their upcoming November tour of Europe because of lead singer Stuart Murdoch’s unspecified illness. They shared a statement about the cancelation on their website:
Belle and Sebastian regret to announce the cancellation of their upcoming tour of mainland Europe. This is due to lead singer Stuart Murdoch’s current health.
It is a huge disappointment for us not to make the concerts, and the decision was not taken easily.
Stuart wants nothing else but to be able to play and sing for you, but has to get better first. We hope you understand.
