Every year the costumed cosmos travelers in GWAR provide AV Club’s Undercover series with some of it’s most insane moments. In the past couple of years they’ve offered weirdo renditions of “Carry on My Wayward Son” and Pet Shop Boys‘ “West End Girls,” and today they’re back with a new version. This time Cyndi Lauper’s “She Bop” gets run through the GWAR paper shredder, reducing the original’s confectioners sugar down to caramelized goop. They also tack on a pretty straightforward cover of the Ramones “Blitzkrieg Bop” to the end, potentially their best moment on the show’s history.
