Florence + the Machine revealed the stunning, profoundly creepy new video for their How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful cut “Delilah,” and it’s a mesmerizing piece of work. The short, which bears the subtitle “The Odyssey – Chapter 6” (despite the lack of chapters one through five), places Welch in a seedy motel located in a humid, Florida-like setting, where all manner of eerie things happen to her. Turning horrifying moments of seizure and assault into elegant, unearthly choreography, Welch endures a possible murder, what might be an orgy, and a super-disturbing bout of sleep paralysis, complete with a horrifying demon sitting on her chest.
