Father John Misty has a reputation as a slinking and sauntering live performer so any time he gets a chance to take that weirdness to late night is a welcome one. Wednesday night he brought the I Love You, Honeybear track “The Ideal Husband” to Jimmy Kimmel Live for a boisterous performance that eventually featured the former Fleet Foxes member falling to his knees and belting out a stunningly emotive rendition of the track.
