When she released a visual single a couple of months ago, M.I.A. hinted that she’d have some more stuff in the works soon. Based on an Instagram post, as The Fader points out, it looks like Skrillex could be involved in whatever comes next. She posted a picture of the producer working on an Ableton set with the caption “MATADATAH,” which happens to be part of the name of her recently released project. It remains to be seen exactly what the two have been working on together, but given the twitchy clangs of “Swords” and Skrillex’s sedate production on some other big pop songs this year, a team up could go to some interesting places.
