Now that he’s finished college, 22-year-old Justin Jay is throwing the ultimate post-grad party. Dirtybird’s rising star will release his new EP, the aptly-titled Mom, I Graduated, this Monday, September 14. We’ve already heard A-side “Hit It,” which couples stomping bass with a whispered refrain.
Just in time for the weekend, he’s premiering the second single, “Rain Dance.” The track builds slowly, and over its thunderous beat you can even hear slight a slight drizzle. “I’m gonna make it rain,” a heavy vocal sample warns in the refrain — but leave your umbrellas at home. You’ll want to get caught in this storm.
