Destruction Unit’s new album, Negative Feedback Resistor is now available as a free download. The LP, which includes trashing punk cuts like “If Death Ever Slept,” was a the product of a team-up with Sacred Bones Records and Adult Swim, who helped fund Arizona quintet’s newly blown-out efforts. The band doesn’t really seem entirely sure how that collaboration happened.
“I don’t know, [Adult Swim] just have a bunch of money left over at the end of the year that they need to get rid of,” guitarist Jes Aurelius explained to SPIN earlier this summer. “And they decided to give it to a bunch of psychopaths.” Download the eight-track record, for free, here.
