Pop darling Carly Rae Jepsen made an appearance on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, where she performed an intimate, striped-down E•MO•TION cut “Run Away With Me,” and a dazzling cover of Years & Years’ moody hit “King.”
Backed with a minimalist ensemble of a keyboard and electric guitar, Jepsen made the jam her own; it’d be really great if this became a consistent cover of hers.
It’s not the first time an artist has covered the song for the Live Lounge. Nick Jonas offered up a smooth acoustic cover of the tune back in April.
