When drone-pop superstar Peaches announced her upcoming album — the oh-so PC-titled Rub — one track on the list stood particularly out from the rest: “Close Up,” a snarling collaboration with Sonic Youth legend (and now bestselling author) Kim Gordon. Now the pair have released a video for the duet and it’s — in typical Peaches fashion, she who recreated Jesus Christ Superstar as a one-woman show — wild. Gordon plays the singer’s wrestling coach after Peaches shoves a wad of bills into her hands, and things only spiral more out of control from there.
