To honor its 13-season run, the soon-to-end Adult Swim cartoon Aqua Teen Hunger Force commissioned Patti Smith to record an eerie original song/elegy called “Aqua Teen Dream.” The absurdist series will conclude its final season (entitled Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever) with an episode named “The Last One Forever and Ever (For Real This Time) (We ****ing Mean It)” this Sunday night at midnight. Listen to the rock icon below, and look out for such fitting lyrics as “I never dreamed / I’d be an Aqua Teen / Thirteen seasons / What did it mean?”
