Parting is such sweet sorrow, especially for Directioners. As if news of Zayn Malik‘s departure wasn’t heartbreaking enough, The Sun has reported that the the U.K. boy band One Direction — Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan — is going on hiatus, with each member pursuing solo careers. Sources allegedly told the British publication, “It is definitely not a split and they fully intend to get back together at some time in the future. But for now it is the end and they go out on top as the world’s most popular music act.” Take heart: the foursome’s fifth album is still on the way, even if they won’t tour behind it.
