Weezer and Best Coast have shared the video for their sweet guitar-pop collaboration, “Go Away,” which is taken from the former’s latest record, Everything Will Be Alright in the End.
In it, frontman Rivers Cuomo attempts to win Bethany Cosentino’s heart from afar via a “Winder” dating app, haplessly trying on a bunch of different personas on for size (Surfer dude! Pierced record store geek! Homeless person!) in the hopes that she’ll dig it. Spoiler: She doesn’t.
True to their record’s title, though, everything is all right in the end when Cuomo loses the costumes and is rewarded with an in-person hug from Cosentino. Watch below.
