The rad teen blog Rookie Mag has an ongoing advice series called “Ask a Grown Woman’ (or “Ask a Grown Man,” dependening on who’s participating), and they’ve enlisted blog friends Sleater-Kinney for the latest installment. The band’s Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker touch on a whole host of romantic mysteries during the video’s seven minutes, including how to break up, if and when you should kiss someone you’re trying to kiss, and how to tell a friend you’re into them. It’s precious stuff, and since their general mantra seems to place honesty before anything else, it seems to be pretty sound advice. But not Sound Advice. Watch it here.
