Sharon Van Etten just released a new EP called I Will Never Let You Down, but this morning she already shared another devastating single called “Words.” This one was commissioned to close out a new Netflix documentary about Tig Notaro’s tumultuous year after her now famous stand-up set about her breast cancer diagnose. It’s a synth-led track that’s suitably haunting and uplifting at alternate turns, another stellar effort from one of the best songwriters going.
