Nothing Else Matters But This Metallica Comic Book

Heavy metal overlords Metallica might not have released a new studio album since 2008’s Death Magnetic, but superfans can now lose themselves in a new Metallica comic book.

Chronicling their three-and-a-half-decade-long career, the 28-page illustrated volume is called Orbit: Metallica and is available now via Stormfront Media. Check out the full cover below, via Billboard.

Written by Michael L. Frizell and illustrated by David Frizell, Orbit also features research from interior artist Jayfri Hashim, who said the following in a press release:

Metallica’s formation marks the beginning of metal, breeding thrash metal which progresses to heavy metal during the glam rock era. Many people get it wrong when they say Metallica is a rock band. They’re not. They are the very definition of a metal band. They were daring, innovative, and the story of their beginning fascinates me.
