Future is throwing a free concert at a 500-person venue in Los Angeles tonight — which is a bit of a problem, because way more than 500 people want to go to a free Future concert. According to TMZ, a bunch of people started lining up as early as 9 a.m. to try to secure a spot for the midnight concert. Things got even more tense at 1 p.m. when wristbands were handed out, and the massive crowd building up outside the Roxy reportedly spilled off the sidewalk and into Sunset Boulevard.

TMZ characterized the scene as “wild.” Police wearing riot gear and armed with riot guns soon arrived, but there are no reports of any further incident. TMZ obtained a video of the cops and the mass of people, which is below.

The concert is the last in Future’s series of “Salute the Fans” shows. Perhaps he’ll opt for a bigger venue if he decides to do this again in the future.
