Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the legendary Whitney Houston and R&B star Bobby Brown, died on Sunday, July 26. She was 22.
“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the Houston family said in statement provided to Entertainment Tonight. “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
Brown was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Atlanta townhouse on January 31 of this year due to unexplained reasons, and her condition did not improve despite intensive medical care. She was placed into a medically induced coma at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital, and moved to hospice care just over a month ago. She was reportedly surrounded by her family, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, at the end.
