The Chemical Brothers and St. Vincent Release Sizzling ‘Under Neon Lights’

St. Vincent and the Chemical Brothers might not be the most intuitive pairing on paper, but the inimitable singer slays on the U.K. dance duo’s “Under Neon Lights.” “We’re always looking to work with likeminded people who do something a bit different to us,” said the Chem Bros.’ Tom Rowlands in a press release. “Annie is an amazing artist who was very up for experimenting.”

Premiered on Lauren Laverne’s BBC 6 Music Show, the latest listen off the Chemical Brothers’ forthcoming Born in the Echoes LP (out July 17 via Astralwerks) chugs at a concise clip dressed up with flute accents while Annie Clark’s intimidating wisp of a voice murmurs alluringly, “All I wants of you tonight / Got no husband, got no wife.” Listen for yourself, and check out the band’s handful of upcoming U.S. tour dates below.
