With increasingly little in common with the kind of country music currently topping the charts, it’s no surprise to see Kacey Musgraves lean into her retroness in live appearances. She brought her homespun single “Biscuits” to Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night, wearing a Dolly-esque dress and a studded scarf, while the rest of her band went the Rhinestone Cowboy route, altogether looking transported from a Grand Ole Opry performance from 40 years ago.
