Billy Corgan is presently on an acoustic tour with the current iteration of Smashing Pumpkins, before he heads out on a trek with Marilyn Manson. He generally seems to be enjoying himself, performing new material and goofy medleys of old hits, and at a VIP pre-show he continued the good spirits, breaking out a cover of the Beatles’ classic “Something.” It’s an unexpectedly lilting choice for the Pumpkins frontman, but a pleasant one nonetheless.
